Here is the recipe for the treats we made for Kento’s birthday. Kento and Moka loved them. It is very gratifying to see how a few minutes baking in the kitchen can result in such an obvious enjoyment.
We made sure the ingredients were all organic and gluten-free for our high maintenance, allergic boy.
[INGREDIENTS]
2 1/2 cups Oat Flour
1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/3 cup Smooth Organic Peanut Butter
1 cup Hot Water
1 Egg
[PREPARATIONS]
Preheat oven to 375°F
[DIRECTIONS]
Mix flour and baking soda in bowl.
In a separate large bowl, mix together peanut butter and hot water until smooth. Add egg.
Slowly add dry mixture to peanut butter mixture and mix well.
Flour a surface and rolling pin and roll dough out to 1/4 in thick. Cut with cookie cutter of your choice. We chose the classic bone shape.
You can imprint names and other designs on the cutouts with a toothpick.
Place cut-outs on non-stick baking sheet.
Bake for 20 mins or until lightly brown. Let cool.
Moka got too excited and jumped too high. She’s totally missing it 😯
While Moka is flying for the treat, Kento cannot take his eyes off the treat..
This new recipe got pug-approved 😀
