Here is the recipe for the Peanut Butter and Banana Treats we made for Kento’s birthday!
1 cup oat flour
2/3 cup rolled oats
3 tbs. peanut butter
Preheat oven to 300°F.
In a large bowl, mash the peeled banana with a fork. Add oat flour, oats, peanut butter and egg and mix. Set aside for about 5 minutes to set.
Meanwhile, cover baking sheet with parchment paper.
Using a teaspoon, spoon clumps of dough on prepared baking sheets. I like to leave the rough edges for a more rustic look. Using the back of a tablespoon, flatten balls to about 2″ medallions.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until firm and golden brown.
Set aside to cool completely.
Store leftovers in airtight container in refrigerator.
Should yield about 2 dozen.

On a further note, similar recipes include parsley as a breath freshener. We’ve heard mixed opinions on whether or not dogs should eat parsley. I do not know which is correct, but nevertheless, I did not use parsley.
